Request a quote for rubber crumbWhat it is
Rubber crumb is made by granulating end-of-life tyres and removing the steel and textile fibre. The rubber is then screened into size grades, usually quoted by mesh size or in millimetres.
Consistent grading matters more than almost any other property. A buyer making moulded tiles or modified asphalt needs the same particle size distribution in the hundredth tonne as in the first.

Questions
What is the difference between crumb, granules and powder?
The terms overlap. In general, granules sit at the coarser end of the range, crumb in the middle and powder at the fine end. Give us a size range in mesh or millimetres and we quote against that.
Are there restrictions on some end uses?
Yes. Rules on some uses, such as synthetic turf infill, differ by country. Tell us where the material will be used so we quote for the right requirements.
How is crumb delivered?
Usually in bulk bags, or loose in bulk tippers and containers. We quote the packaging you ask for.
